PITTSBURGH PENGUINS: Penguins trade forward to Florida Panthers for defenseman

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced a next trade deadline shift, and for the next time the Pens are recieving a defender.

This trade was amongst Pittsburgh and the Florida Panthers.

The Penguins acquired defenseman Chris Wideman in trade for middle Jean-Sebastien Dea.

Previously in the afternoon, the Penguins announced a trade with the Vancouver Canucks for defenseman Erik Gudbranson.

Just right before the deadline, the Penguins also reassigned Teddy Blueger to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
