PITTSBURGH – Penguins enthusiasts held their breath Saturday night soon after defenseman Kris Letang still left the ice in the first time period of the Stadium Collection and in no way returned.
Letang and his defensive associate, Brian Dumoulin, were being each hurt in opposition to the Flyers.
Right after the activity, Coach Mike Sullivan stated Dumoulin had a concussion. On Monday, we received a clearer photograph of how sequence of an upper overall body personal injury Letang was dealing with.
The Penguins advised the media Letang was officially working day-to-working day which is good news.

Neither guy will make the excursion to Columbus for the team’s activity in opposition to the Blue Jackets Tuesday night, but there’s optimism that each could be back swiftly.
That’s welcome news taking into consideration the Penguins are in a challenging combat for a playoff place.
