Matt Murray injury update: Penguins G ‘day-to-day’ with upper-body injury | NHL

Penguins goaltender Matt Murray is outlined as “day-to-day” with an higher-body harm, the team announced.

Murray did not exercise with the team Wednesday and has already skipped time this time simply because of a concussion and an unspecified reduced-body harm. Pittsburgh mentor Mike Sullivan stated this particular harm is not linked to the concussion.

Murray played in the Penguins’ 4- loss to Carolina on Tuesday and will journey with the team when it commences its three-activity road trip Thursday.

Pittsburgh also announced it recalled goaltender Tristan Jarry on an unexpected emergency basis from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

Jarry, 23, has performed in 27 AHL video games this time and holds a 15-9-3 history, 2.75 targets-in opposition to regular and a .912 save proportion.
